Highwood Fort Sheridan residents will have a new year round Organics Program (food scrap/landscape) from Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS). LRS opened a state-of-the-art single stream in 2016. The exciting news about the City of Highwood's contract with LRS sets Highwood apart from other North Shore neighborhoods as being eco-friendly and utilizing cutting edge recycling partners.
